Kids Stuff

Little kids LOVE the holidays and there are so many things everywhere they can't touch - the tree, etc.  We could do a Christmas decor just for them.

Remember the I SPY pillows?  These are I SPY ornaments.  I would change these up a bit, but it might be fun for a kid to have a few ornaments they could take off the tree and look at.

A manger they could play with would be so fun.  I would probably make mine a lot more colorful, but nothing can get broken here!  My kids loved playing with our manger scene.  Sometimes I would find matchbox cars and trucks intermingled with the animals, but they loved it!

Or we could make a felt tree that they could decorate, and redecorate, and redecorate!  I must be missing little kids.  Anyone want to loan me theirs for a while?

Burlap Tree skirts and More

While cruising Pinterest, I have thought of a few more things we could do this fall.  A burlap tree skirt would so easy!  My favorite is this simple one above, but there are soooooo many options!

Of course there are a million ruffled ones, and these are NO SEW!  But our glue guns would be smokin hot!
Do you like any of them?

Or we could stencil something like this.  It would make a cute gift.  I also like the burlap banner stenciled with names of Christ that was pictured earlier.  Burlap is the 'thang' right now, AND super cheap.  That's a winning combination.  Do you want to do something in burlap?  Let me know!

Hi Ladies! Here are some more ideas that were submitted.  I love seeing what
you are interested in.  Keep them coming!

Below is a quiet-book binder filled with matching games and other learning based activities.
Great for church!

This is a 6ft long banner with names of Christ printed on it.  It would be beautiful draped along a garland or around a tree.

Every day in November you write down something you are thankful for and
put it in these cute, little pockets.

This is a do-it-yourself, science activity box.  Everything you need for each activity is in a bag with instructions.  Great for days when kids are bored.

Here are some ideas for next fall's Super Saturday.  We really want to provide you with things you have chosen to make or learn.  So, please comment if you like any of these or email me with ideas of your own.  We would love to hear from you!

A life size ruler for a growth chart.  So easy to take with you when you move!
This is an advent calendar with a picture and scripture.  This could also be done with your own family photos of past Christmas memories.
Easy modge podge on wood blocks project.
This banner is made out of felt.  It would be pretty cheap and easy.
 Stenciling on wood frames.
Paper cones can be decorated with fabric, like above, or any kind of fabric, ribbons, candy, etc.  They are all over Pinterest in many variations.
